ABOUT
WHO ARE WE
The Dymond Shantyl Dantzler Legacy Foundation, INC is a charitable, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established after the tragic loss of my only child D’ymond on May 11, 2015. We are the family, sorority sisters, teachers, and friends who remain committed to promoting Dymond’s legacy and honoring the life she led, by continuing to educate, empower, and provide positive self-images of women and men.
OUR MISSION
The Dymond Shantyl Dantzler Legacy Foundation’s mission will assist with the cultivation of our community through an emphasis on moral development, education, the presence and importance of the arts, with the dedication to promoting and protecting human rights primarily in the African American community.
VISION
The Dymond Shantyl Dantzler Legacy Foundation seeks to become a pillar of service in the community positively impacting the development of young women and men through five Prisms of Service: (1) mentoring; (2) promoting scholarship opportunities for college; (3) assistance with residential services; (4) community service and outreach, and (5) exposure to the arts via singing, dance, and music workshops; all of which D’ymond dedicated her life and energy to foreseeing into fruition.
